Photo of the Day 26th April 2023

Low side view of a twin engined bizjet flying from left to right at a very low altitude, withflaps deplyed, landing gear being tucked away, and nose raised, suggesting it has just taken off. The plane is mostly white, with a blue and gresy stripe zig-zagging it's way along the fuselage and up into the base of the tail. The registration "D-Booc" is prominent of the engine cowlings, and there is a small German flag (black, red, and yellow horizontal bands) at the top of the tail. Behind, the sky is a light blue, with white clouds in the far distance.

Side view of a single propellor-engined light aircraft parked on grass at the edge of a tarmaced area between a pair of orange and white traffic cones. The plane is mostly white, with a pair of blue stripes running back along the fuselage from the nose, with the registration "G-PLAN" on the rear fuselage. There is the wing and engine of another light aircraft just peeking in to view on the lower right of the frame.

Close-up of the nose and forward fuselage of a large jet airliner taxiing from left to right. The plane is mostly white, with large blue billboard-style "AOM" titles above the nosewhee, with the top of the letters accentuated with a red line following the tops of the letters, resembline a flying bird. Under the cockpit windows is a red circle with a white head wearing what appears to be an Ancient Greek helmet. The nosewheel looks to be really far back, with the letters "DLZ" on the nosewheel doors.
