Photo of the Day 24th June 2023

Low side view of a twin engined jet airliner flying from left to right at low altitude, with flaps extended from the rear of the wings, and the nose raised. The plane is mostly white, with large orange "easyJet.com" titles running along most of the body. The tail and engines are a bright orange, with white "easyJet" titles. There is a small light shiniing forwards where the right wing meets the fuselage. Above, the sky is a pale blue.

Side view of a single seat, single enginedattack jet aircraft taxiing from left to right. The plane is almost entirely grey, except for the extensively glazed cockpit canopy. There are engine intakes tigh up on the sides of the fuselage, just aft of the cockpit, with the wings coming straight out of the intake. There are missiles carried on the wingtips. The tail has a black badge with a silver eagle flying to the left. In the background, the tail of another plane, with green and grey camouflage and a yellow lightning flash on the tail, is just poking into the frame on the left. There is a chainlink fence mounted on conctrete posts running across most of the frame, with trees and bushes behind it, all under a grey sky. The photo is, unfortunately, rather grainy, so a lot of detail has been lost.

Side view of a twin engined jet airliner being towed from left to right by a small dark blue and grey truck, connected to the nose wheel by an orange pole. The plane is mostly white, with red lower surfaces, sweeping up in to the tail, with the engines also being white with a redlower section. Under the fuselage, a truck with airstairs on the back and wearing the same colour scheme as the tow truck is visible. In the background, trees mark the edge of the airfield, with lighting poles and buildings leading into the hazy distance, under a hazy grey sky.
