Photo of the Day 30th September 2024.

Side view of a white, twin engined jet airliner with a dark blue belly and yellow piping, flying from left to right at a low altitude, with it's undercarriage extended and flaps deployed from the rear of the wings, suggesting it is about to land. Blue "RyanAir" titles adorn the upper fuselage, next to a blue image of an Irish harp, a yellow version of said harp appearing on the blue tail. The engine pods slung under the wings also have white tops, blue bottoms, and a yellow stripe running from front to back. Blue sky fills the rest of the frame.

Side view of a white, high-winged, twin propellor-engined airliner taxiing from right to left. The plane has a blue and thin red stripe running along the body below the passenger cabin windows, with black "Eurowings" titles on the upper forward fuselage. The white tail has an stylised image of 2 flying birds, one red, the other blue, the blue one having a long tail that curls around into almost a full circle - this design is repeated, in smaller form, on the forward fuselage, just aft of the cockpit. Grey concrete apron fills most of the rest of the rest of the frame, with a grey airbridge attached to a grey terminal building stretching most of the way across from the upper left.
