Manchester Monday 18th November 2024.

Side view of a white, twin engined jet airliner with a blue tail taxiing from left to right and slightly away from the camera. There are blue and green "Air Club" titiles on the upper forward fuselage, with the "Air" in blue block lettering, the "Club" in green, curly writing. There is a white, curly letter "C" on the tail, and the registration "C-GCIT" on the lower rear fuselage in black. Bright sunlight reflects off the white body, and the concrete apron surrounding it. Large, yellow, metal frames fill most of the background, with black buildings beyond that.

C-GCIT, Airbus A310-324, Air Club International, taxiing to the terminal at Manchester Airport, some time between October 1994 and February 1997.

Rear side view of a grey , twin engined jet airliner with a dark blue belly being towed from left to right and away from the camera by a grey and dark blue, low-slung tug attached to the nosewheel. The plane has a dark blue top half, the rest being grey. The left engine under the wing is the same dark blue, while the right engine is missing. The registration "G-BGDC" is on the lower rear fuselage in grey just forward of the rear door. Grey concrete apron fills most of the foreground, with a large grey hangar in the background.

G-BGDC, Boeing 737-236Adv, in basic British Airways colours but no titles, being towed to a hangar for maintenance at Manchester Airport, some time in early 1995.

Somewhat grainy and backlit side view of a grey and green, high-winged, 4 propellor-engined military cargo plane flying from left to right at a very low altitude, just a few metres above a runway, with flaps deployed from behind the wings, undercarriage lowered, and nose raised significantly, suggesting it has just taken off. Vapour trails spin off from the tips of the propellors, seeming to form corkscrews over the top of the wings. Green grass and grey taxiways fill the foreground, with trees in the background, under hazy grey skies.
