@mancavgeek beautiful aircraft. I don't remember them but they used to operate through Singapore when I was a wee kid there. I remember Dad saying if you looked at them through binoculars, you could see a long sheet of blue flame coming out of the engines.
If you haven't read it already, "Concorde" by Mike Bannister is a great read about the Concorde, but he includes his early years on the VC-10. Some eye-opening tales there! What happens when you put a WW2 bomber pilot in charge of a powerful airliner with no passengers?
