The red registration "YL-BAE" is on the engine pods mounted on the sides of the rear fuselage, complete with a small Latvian flag. The tail has a black and white line drawing of a rampant lion with a golden mane, holding a golden shield outlined in white, with a white letter "B" in the middle, and 3 golden stars at the top. The plane is mostly white, with large, dark blue "Tarom" titles on the lower forward fuselage. The tail is dark blue, with a white circle, outlined in white, with a highly stylised image of a blue flying bird, in the middle. Black taxiway fills the foreground, marked with yellow lines for planes to follow, with islands of concrete apron to left and right in the background. More grey concrete apron at the top of the frame has a very large, 4 engined jet airliner parked facing out of frame on the top left.
