Photo of the Day 10th March 2025.

Side view of a very small, single engined light aircraft vaguely resembling a bumble bee.

Side view of a white, twin engined jet airliner taxiing from right to left. The plane has a light blue, mid blue, and dark blue stripe running along the body, getting narrower as it sweeps up towards the tail, where it acts almost as a flag pole for a waving half UK flag. There are dark blue "Air UK" titles on the upper forward fuselage, with seemingly hand-written "Leisure" titles next to it. The registration "G-UKLF" is on the upper rear fuselage, in black. There are small "Air UK" titles just aft of the rear door, also in black. A light layer of snow fills most of the foreground, only the taxiway the plane is on is clear, shining damply in the early morning light. More snow covers grass in the background, with more taxiways and a runway clear, leading up to snow-covered hangars in the distance, under bright but hazy skies.

Side view of a white, twin propellor-engined airliner taxiing from left to right and slightly away from the camera, it's spinning so fast they are smeared into a blur. There is a green and red stripe running along the body just below the passenger cabin windows, getting wider as it sweeps up into the lower part of the tail. There are black "Manx" titles on the upper forward fuselage, and the registration "G-BUUR" on the lower rear, also in black. Damp, grey concrete apron fills the foreground, with more in the background, as well as grey and blue rear fuselage of a jet airliner at the top left of the frame.

Side view of a white, twin engined jet airliner flying from left to right at a low altitude, with undercarriage lowered and flaps extended from the rear of the wings, suggesting it is about to land. The plane has a dark blue belly, with black "British Airways" on the lower forward fuselage, below a twisted red and blue ribbon. The tail has wavy light blue, dark blue, red, and white stripes. Cloudy grey sky fills the rest of the frame.

Side view of a white, twin engined jet airliner taxiing from right to left. There are light and dark blue "Air Transat" titles on the forward fuselage. The rear fuselage and tail is dark blue, with the outline of a light-blue star on the tail, and variations of the phrase "Welcome" in various languages ("Bienvenue", "Benvenuto", "Welkom", Wilkommen", and more) in various colours covering the rear fuselage. Large areas of green grass split by taxiways fill the foreground, with grey hangars dominating the background, under grey skies.
