Race ya!

A6-ENF, Boeing 777-31HER, Emirates, lined up on Runway 23 Left at Manchester Airport, 25th March 2015, with A6-ETF, Boeing 777-3FXER, Etihad, lined up on a parallel taxiway ready for it's turn.

These planes are off to airports ~120km apart, around 5700 km away, at almost the same time, so will probably reach their destinations about the same time.

Side view of a twin engined jet airliner being towed from left to right by a white tug attached to the nosewheel by a long yellow pole. The plane is mostly white, with a dark blue belly, yellow wings, white engines, and a red tail with a large white cross in the middle. There are large red "BalAir" titles on the forward fuselage, with a large yellow dot above the lower-case letter "I". There are additional dark blue "A310" titles next to a circular blue Airbus logo on the nose under the cockpit windows. A grey concrete building with a red and blue banner with white "Flughafenbahn" titles is in the background on the right of the frame, with more buildings vanishing into haze in the distance, with a white jet airliner with an orange and blue stripe on the body parked in front.

Side view of a single-engined light helicopter parked on grass facing to the right. The chopper is mostly white, with green stripes on the main body and tail boom. There is the white registration "G-MAVI" on the green part of the boom, and "R22 Beta" text on the green part of the body, just aft of the cockpit. A pair of brown seats can be see through the large, glazed canopy. In the background, a long, thin, yellow tail boom of a small helicopter can be seen, with the red registration "G-HALO" visible, is on the right of the frame. On the left of the background is a silvery-grey, single-engined bi-plane parked facing away from the camera, with a much larger, 4 propellor-engined military aircraft beyond that. Crowds are clustered around behind metal fences in the background, under grey skies.
