Close-up of the white rear fuselage and blue tail of a propellor-engined airliner taxing from left to right. The body of the plane is white, with a dark blue stripe running along the body. Grey concrete apron fills the foreground, with more in the background with the occasional strip of grass breaking up the monotony.

Tails Tuesday 2 15th April 2025.

A line-up of medium-range airliners parked by a terminal building, all facing to the left, with their tails displayed prominently. Nearest the camera, on the left, is the white rear fuselage and tail of a jet airliner, with a diagonla green and red stripe on the tail. Next is a white jet airliner, with a blue and red tail with a white flame in the middle, and a set of white airstairs by the open rear door. At the rear is a white jet airliner with blue "Lufthansa" titles on the upper forward fuselage, and a dark blue tail with a yellow circle containing a blue flying bird, with a green set of airstairs by the open rear door. A blue and yellow van is driving along the concrete apron on the right of the frame.

An Airbus A320 (registration unknown) of Balkan Bulgarian Airlines, YU-ANV, Boeing 737-3H9 operated by JAT Yugoslav Airlines, and D-ABHM, Boeing 737-230Adv, Lufthansa, parked on their gates at London Heathrow, some time between December 1991 August 1996, as seen from the rooftop terraces on the Queens Building.
