While not a regular thing, Lufthansa flights divert here every few months, mostly flights coming from over the Atlantic, although on occasion some will come in before joining the Atlantic track en route from Germany.

Close-up of the rear fuselage and tail of a twin engined jet airliner with the engines mounted on the sides of the rear fuselage. The plane is mostly red, with a very familiar logo, a pair of yellow arches that resemble a letter "M" on the tail, overlaid at the bottom with Swiss flag (red field with a white cross, outlined in yellow to make it stand out from the rest of the red. A smaller version of this flag, this time outlined in white, is on the upper rear fuselage, next to the white registration "HB-IUH". There are white "CrossAir" titles on the side of the red engine pods below and in front of the tail. Grey concrete apron fills the bottom of the frame, with grey airbridges attached to a grey terminal building in the background at the top.

The plane has a large Canadian flag (red field either side of a larger white field containing a red maple leaf) in the centre of the tail, over the black serial "13703". There is a red-white-red stripe, outlined in black, running along the body. In the background, a grey, 4 jet-engined military plane with the black letters "NAT" on the lower forward fuselage can be seen at the bottom of the frame. The fest of the background is pale blue sky with fluffs of white cloud.
