On This Day 1 1st June 1992.

The plane is white, with a red and purple stripe with yellow piping in the middle running along the body, and a red tail with a purple stripe with yellow piping at the bottom. It's nose wheel is turned to it's left, as it turns to the right of the frame. In the background, a grey and dark blue, twin engined jet airliner facing away from the camera, has an airbridge connected to it's forward fuselage, the other end of the bridge connected to  a grey building.

There are gold "Royal Jordanian" titles on the upper forward fuselage, in English to the front, repeated in an Arabic script to the rear, with additional "golden "Cargo" titles on the upper rear fuselage, just ahead of a Jordanian flag. Green grass fills the foreground, with more grass visible under the plane in the background, with flat grey sky filling the rest of the frame.

This was back when you could stand by the fence between the runway and the Bath Road, and not be stopped by the Police - not something I would recommend anyone do now.

A  couple of months after this, it was purchased by the USAF and converted to an E-8C J-STARS aircraft.
