'Throw Thursday 1st May 2025.

Side view of a blue and grey, twin propellor-engined airliner flying from right to left at a very low altitude, with undercarriage lowered and flaps extended from the rear of the wings, suggesting it is about to land. The plane has dark blue upper surfaces and a grey belly, with white piping, and white "British Midland" titles on the upper forward fuselage next to a red "BM" logo. This logo also appears in larger form on the tail. The registration "G-BMYK" is on the lower rear fuselage in black. Grey sky fills the rest of the frame.

Bonus Photo of the Day 1st May 2025.

Side view of a cream and blue, long and thin single-engined light aircraft parked facing to the left. A glazed, low windshield is the only concession to protection for the open cockpit and any pilot that may fly this. The plane has dark blue upper surfaces and a cream body, with a white tail with a blue stripe containing a white circle with the letters "VP" in the middle in blue. The registration "G-BAAD" are on the side of the rear fuselage, also in blue. A pair of other single-engined light aircraft, both with military markings, are parked behind this one. Grey metal fencing surrounds these planes, with crowds of people on the other sides, as well as a couple of vehicles. A large green and brown hangar stretches across the frame from the left, under grim grey sky.
