On This Day 22nd April 1992.

Almost head-on view from slightly below of a blue and grey, twin engined jet airliner with the engines mounted on the sides of the rear fuselage, turning to it's right as it lines up on a runway. The upper body is a dark blue, with a grey belly, a white stripe running along the body separating the 2 sections. A small British flag is visible on each side of the lower forward fuselage, under the rear cockpit windows. Green grass fills the foreground, with piles of dirt on the ground, with red and white striped triangular frames making their location. Under the planes wings, trees and houses can be seen in the distance, with dismal grey sky filling the rest of the frame.

Bonus  Photo of the Day 21st April 2025.

Almost head-on view from slightly above of a white, twin engined jet airliner, taxiing towards a point just below the camera. The plane is mostly white, with a grey belly. There are dark blue "Lufthansa" titles on the upper forward fuselage, with the blue outline of a circle containing a stylised flying blue bird under the cockpit side windows. The tail is dark blue, with a barely visible yellow circle in the middle. Grey concrete apron fills most of the frame, with a brown terminal building stretching across the frame, with grey airbridges hanging off the side of the building.
