On This Day 22nd March 2018.

Side view of a twin engined jet airliner flying from right to left at a low altitude, with undercarriage being stowed away, flaps extended from the rear of the wings, and the nose raised very sharply, suggesting it has just taken off. The plane is painted gold at the front and white at the back, with a purple band around the lower fuselage just forward of the wing. The tail is filled with a large image of a golden stooping falcon, a design that is replicated in a much smaller form on the upturned wing tips.. The engine pods are purple, with gold inlets. The registration "A9C-KD" is painted on the underside of the outer section of the left wing. There is a large, red "F1" logo on the lower rear of the fuselage. Blue sky with the odd wisp of grey cloud fills the rest of the frame.

Bonus Photo of the Day 22nd March 2025.

Side view of a white, 4 engined jet airliner with the engines mounted in pairs on the sides of the rear fuselage. There are large white "Tarom" titles on the sides of the lower fuselage. The tail is blue, with a large white circle in the middle containing a blue flying bird. Black tarmac taxiways fill the foreground and most of the background, with wide strips of grey concrete marking the edges of the taxiways, often with grassed areas beyond the concrete. The rear fuselage of a very large jet airliner with an orange tail can be seen in the top left corner, taxiing out of frame.
