The top half of thew plane is grey, with a dark bluye lower half, with some red piping on the blue section. There are black "British Airways" titles on the upper forward fuselage. The tail is dark blue on the top half, the bottom being grey with a red and dark blue triangle under the blue top half. The white tail of another airliner can be seen above the rear fuselage of this plane. Pale blue sky fills the rest of the frame, with fluffs of grey cloud on the left.

G-BNLB, Boeing 747-436, British Airways, outside the BA hangars at London Heathrow, some time in the early 1990s, taken from EastChurch Road.

At the time, the hangars were on the other side of a public road, which had to be temporarily shut down as planes moved from the hangars to the main airfield, with wide gates that opened to allow planes through.

I was lucky enough to be walking round there while these gates were open, which resulted in this shot.

Sadly, that part of EastChurch Road has now been closed to the public so that the gates can be removed
