CS-DOL, Cessna 525B CitationJet CJ3, ValAir, taxiing to the terminal after landing on Runway 28 at Blackpool Squires gate, 21st August 2025.

Previously seen several times at Manchester as D-CAST, with Air Hamburg.

On This Day 23rd September 1995.

Side view of a 3 engined jet airliner parked facing to the right. The plane is mostly white, with a grey belly, and blue "Rich International" titles on the upper forward fuselage. There are upper-case blue letters "RI" on the tail, with a red flame on the "I", the same logo appearing on the sides of the engine pods under the wings. Cargo doors in the belly are hinged upwards in the front and rear. A black chain-link fence stretches across the foreground, with a selection of blue or white baggage trucks parked amongst large pieces of yellow machinery of indeterminate purpose. Pale blue sky with white fluffs and streaks of cloud fills the rest of the frame.

I think after 30 years, I'm not going to get arrested for revealing that I was sort-of, technically, not exactly legally, somewhere I shouldn't have been for this photo - I wasn't airside, or anything close to it, but I was on one of the exit ramps from the T1 Multi-storey car park - there were large signs up saying "No pedestrian access", and there was no foot path, but there were also very few cars used that ramp, so I took a chance!
And it's not as if there were any sign saying "No photography"!

Tails Tuesday 23rd September 2025.

Slightly out-of-focus close-up of the rear fuselage and tail of a twin-engined jet airliner moving from left to right. The plane is mostly white, with a blue belly, almost random light and dark blue, red, and white curved stripes on the tail, and the black registration "G-EMBE" on the white engine pods mounted on the sides of the rear fuselage. Grass in the background leads up to trees in the distance, under hazy grey sky.

G-EMBE, Embraer ERJ-145EU, British Airways, showing off it's "Waves of the City" World Tails tail design, lining up on Runway 24 by the Airport Hotel pub at Manchester Airport, some time after February 1998.
