Winglet Wednesday 27th August 2025.

Close-up of the blue upturned wing-tip of a jet airliner taxiing from right to left. The plane is white on top with a blue belly, and a yellow stripe separating the 2 sections. There is diagonal yellow text "RyanAir" on the winglet, and blue registration "EI-FOO" on the upper rear fuselage. Tree-covered hills in the background lead up to hazy grey sky.

Side view of a high-winged, 4 engined jet airliner taxiing from right to left with flaps drooping behind the wings, suggesting it has just landed. The plane is mostly white, with  a thin red and blue stripe running along the body, getting wider as it moves rearwards, before sweeping up to fill the tail. The blue registration "G-BUHC" . Yellowing grass fills the foreground at the bottom of the frame, with what appear to be lights on a pair of brown wooden poles next to a taxiway. Several other planes can be seen in the background behind this planes nose, with rows of trees in the distance under grey-blue sky.

G-BUHC, British Aerospace 146-30, in basic Dan Air colours but operated by the manufacturer, landing at Farnborough after performing a display flight at the annual air show, 10th September 1994.
