Side view of a 3 engined jet airliner taxiing from right to left on a black taxiway marked with white and yellow lines. The plane is mostly white, with a grey belly, and black BWIA International titles on the upper forward fuselage, and the black registration "CS-TEA" on the upper rear fuselage, under the centre-engine inlet. There is a lot of orange-brown staining around the rear fuselage, just in front of the exhaust outlet of the centre engine. Yellowing grass and another taxiway fill the foreground, with a grey terminal building on the right of the background, with a red and sandy brown hangar with grey "Hunting Business Aviation" titles in the middle of the frame, and a blue hangar on the left of the background. Hazy grey sky fills the rest of the frame.

Side view of the forward fuselage and cockpit of a single engined military jet trainer aircraft, sitting on a couple of metal supports on a white gravel base, facing to the right. The plane is mostly red, with a white upper fuselage and frame around the cockpit, and a black anti-glare panel on top of the nose, directly in front of the cockpit. On the side of the nose is a blue pentagon with a white rose in the middle, below a yellow rectangle with the words "Canopy release other side" in black. The white wall of a building fills the background.

I had known for years that this forward fuselage, and that of XM474, was kept in this building, but apart from occasionally seeing one of them in the corner of an inaccessible car park on a trailer when being taken to air shows up and down the country,  logging them was difficult, and getting photos was impossible.

Then, just a couple of months before I was to move away from Ashton (I lived pretty much literally around the corner!), this was moved outside, as a Gate Guard.

So of course I grabbed some photos on my phone!

Photos are tricky, because of metal fences, light poles, and walls, but it is possible to grab a passable photo, as seen here.
