Side view of a white, 3 engined jet airliner with the engines mounted on the rear fuselage, taxiing from right to left, taken at a slight angle. The plane has a silver belly, and a blue stripe running along the body, covering the passenger cabin windows. There are blue "Lufthansa" titles on the upper forward fuselage. The tail and centre engine intake are dark blue, with a yellow circle containing a stylised blue flying bird on the tail, and the registration "D-ABPI" in white on the centre intake.

D-ABPI, Boeing 727-230, Lufthansa, taxiing the last few feet to Gate 22 at Manchester Airport, taken on a borrowed camera, some time in 1990 or 1991, as seen from the top of the terminal 1 car park.

Side view of a white, twin propellor-engined airliner being pushed back from it's stand by an out-of-frame tug connected to the nose-wheel by a long, thin blue pole. There is a black and red stripe running along the body. With red "LoganAir" titles on the upper forward fuselage, and smaller black "Scotland's Airline" titles on the upper rear. The registration "G-LOGA" is on the lower rear fuselage in black. The tail has a stylised red upper-case "L" with an arrowhead pointing to the upper right. Wet concrete apron fills most of the frame, with a terminal building coming in from the right side, and a grey and dark blue jet airliner landing on a runway in the distance.

Side view of a white, twin engined jet airliner with the engines mounted on the sides of the rear fuselage, parked facing to the right. The plane has a green stripe running along the body and sweeping up into the tail, where it forms the outline of an upper-case letter "A", with a red triangle as the centre part. There are large green "ATI" titles on the forward fuselage, again with a red triangle in the centre of the "A". The registration "I-DAVB" is on the lower rear fuselage in black, and the letters "VB" on the front of the cockpit roof, also in black. The forward door on the opposite side is open, indicating that the plane is parked, even though it is nowhere near the terminal, and in fact is blocking a roadway marked on the concrete apron, which runs directly under the fuselage. The roof of part of the terminal can be seen in the foreground, with a black metal fence around the edge. Sets of blue mobile airstairs are lined up in the background, in front of a large grey hangar. Parked in front of the hangar is a white and blue twin propellor-engined airliner.

I-DAVB, McDonnell Douglas MD-82, ATI, parked nowhere near it's gate on Pier C at Manchester Airport, some time before October 1994, possibly 1992 given the TransAir Cambodia HS748 in the background.

Side view of a green, twin engined jet airliner taxiing from left to right. The plane has a grey belly with a white stripe under the passenger cabin windows, overlaid with dark green "Aer Lingus" titles next to a green shamrock on the forward fuselage. The green tail has a large, white shamrock in the middle. Taxiways wend their way through a large grassed area in the background, with a smaller white jet airliner working it's way to the terminal at the top of the frame.

EI-SHN, Airbus A330-301, Aer Lingus, approaching it's stand on Gate 23 or 25 at Manchester Airport, some time after May 1994, as seen from the roof of the T1 car park.

At the time, these operated daily flights to New York JFK via Shannon in Ireland.
