Photo of the Day 4th July 2025.

Slightly grainy side view of a bright yellow, single-engined light aircraft flying from left to right at a very low altitude.

Normally, the 4th of July would see photos mostly of American airlines and military, but as the US is now a rogue state, nah, that's not happening - they have joined the list of nations (Currently Iran, Russia, Israel, and the US) that I refuse to post any photos of.

Sadly, I think that the UK could be added to that list soon...

On This Day 4th July 1994.

Side view of a twin engined BizJet taxiing from right to left. The plane is mostly white, with a thin blue line running along the body, getting slightly wider as it moves rearwards. The black registration "F-GHMD" is on the tail cone, under the white tail, with a circular light blue loge overlaid with dark blue wings at the top of the tail. Red-tinged concrete apron fills the foreground and most of the background, with blue trucks and yellow baggage carts parked at the top of the frame, in front of brown buildings and white fuel trucks.

Frankfurt Friday 4th July 2025.

Side view of a 3 engined jet airliner taxiing from left to right. The plane is largely red, with a grey belly, and a thick white stripe running along the body, covering the passenger cabin windows, with small red "LTU" titles just aft of the cockpit windows. The tail is largely red, with white "LTU" titles, while the centre engine intake is white, with black "TriStar" text. Grey concrete taxiways fill the foreground, with wide grassed areas lining more taxiways and runways in the background, running up to trees in the distance, under bright but hazy skies.
