On This Day 4th June 2015.

Side view of a twin engined jet airliner flying from left to right at a low altitude with undercarriage lowered, flaps extended from the front and rear of the wing, and the nose raised sharply, suggesting it has just taken off. The plane is mostly white, with a grey lower half, and a dark green stripe wrapped around the nose, just ahead of green Cathay pacific" titles. A thick green stripe is wrapped around the tail, with a white, stylised image of a flying bird formed with a single brush stroke. The black registration "B-KQD" is on the upper rear fuselage. Vivid blue sky fills the rest of the frame, with fluffs of cloud at the bottom.

Just look at the flex on that wing!

Bonus Photo of the Day  4th June 2025.

Side view of a twin engined jet airliner taxiing from right to left. The plane is mostly white, with dark blue "RyanAir" titles on the lower forward fuselage next to a yellow, winged Irish harp. The tail is dark blue with a larger version of that yellow Irish harp logo, and a yellow band wrapped around the rear fuselage. The dark blue engines are mounted on the sides of the rear fuselage, just under the tail. The black registration "EI-CCU" are on the lower rear fuselage, just ahead of the engines. Grey concrete apron fills the foreground, with a man in a red jacket walking out of frame at the bottom left. In the background, green grass leads up to a wide river, with an industrial landscape on the far side, under grim grey sky.
