Side view of a white, twin engined jet airliner taxiing from left to right. The plane has a grey belly, and red "Air India" titles along the top of the fuselage. There is the red outline of a stripe running along the body, framing the passenger cabin windows, which are also painted with red arches, to look like windows in a castle or palace. The tail has the red image of a stylised flying bird, along with red titles in an Indian script that translate to "Air India". Grey concrete apron fills the foreground, with a pair of blue fuel storage tanks in the middle of the background, surrounded by large yellow metal frames and black buildings on the right, and a large grey hangar door on the left, under dreary grey skies.

There is a thick cream stripe running along the body and along the lower side of the tail boom, obviously skipping the glass cockpit doors, and the white registration "G-BBPM" on the upper side of the tail boom. There are 2 people visible in the cockpit through the glazed doors. The tops of trees in the distance are visible at the bottom of the frame, with the rest of the background filled with grey skies.

Crowds of people are gathered around and under the plane, some walking around, others standing and looking. The concrete apron they are on is saturated with rain water, puddles reflecting the people and plane. Grey sky fills the top of the frame.
