On This Day 9th July 2014.

Side view of a twin engined jet airliner slowing down as it moves from right to left, all flaps and spoilers extended from the wings and the thrust reversers activated on the rear of the engine pods, suggesting it has just landed. The plane is mostly white, with a pale blue belly that turns up to fill the tail. There are large, billboard-style "flynas" titles on the forward fuselage in the same pale blue, with some writing in an Arabic script on the on the upper rear fuselage. The engine pods under the wings are the same pale blue, with white"flynas" titles, the engine cowling split because of the thrust reversers, with the last 2 letters on the rear section. A grey runway and a black taxiway are in the foreground, separated by a wide strip of grass. Trees can be seen in the background on the left of the frame, with blue sky with fluffs of cloud filling the rest.

Bonus Photo of the Day 9th July 2025.

Side view of a twin engined jet airliner facing to the right but being pushed back to the left by an out-of-frame tug attached to the nose-wheel by a long white pole. The plane is mostly white, with a series of green stripes running along the lower body, negative space on the forward fuselage forming an upper-case letter "T". There are large, green, diagonal "Transavia" titles on the tail, the negative space of the "T" partially outlined in black. There are similar but smaller titles on the sides of the engine pods, mounted under the wings. Black apron with red and yellow markings fills the foreground, with black taxiways and runways separated by large grassed areas in the background, with gigantic white fuel tanks in the distance, slowly vanishing in to bright hazy skies.
