Side view of a high-winged, twin propellor-engined airliner taxiing from left to right along a taxiway hidden behind some grass. The plane is white, with a pale blue belly, and light and dark blue "FlyBe" titles above a series of 6 coloured dots - 2 yellow, 2 red, and 2 purple. Larger, light and dark blue titles adorn the white tail and rear fuselage, with the black registration "G-ECOC" on a fillet at the front of the tail. There is the light blue text "WWWDotFlyBeDotCom"on the sides of the engine pods, under the wings, the engine pods also have pale blue undersides. A large grassed area fills the foreground, with more grass in the background, leading up to a white and yellow jet airliner, which in on an unseen runway, but appears to be on top of our plane. Rows of trees in the distance meet blue-grey skies.

Front-side view of a two-seat, single-engined bi-plane World War 2-era military trainer aircraft parked facing to the left of the camera on grass. The plane is covered all over in bright yellow paint, with a blue, white, and red roundel n the side of the rear fuselage, below and aft of the twin, open cockpits, and a red, white, and blue fin flash on the tail. The black serial "T7281" is inverted under the inner panels of the left lower wing. Streong sunlight from up past the top right corner is casting strong shadows on the ground, mostly of the wings and body, with some specular highlights and lens flare over the right wing. Another couple of bi-planes, both grey, sit in the background, one on either side, with people walking past a bit further back, behind grey metal fences, and more, somewhat larger planes beyond them, in the distance. White cloudy sky with occasional patches of blue fill the rest of the frame.

Winglet Wednesday 19th August 2026.

View from below of the outer engine and wing panels of a very large, 4 engined jet airliner flying directly overhead at a very low altitude, with flaps extended inboard of the engine and slats extended along the leading edge of the wing, suggesting it is about to land. The underside of the wing and most of the engine pod is white, with only a flash of red on the side of the pod adding a bit of colour. The black registration "VH-OQD" is visible just behind the wing leading edge. The flat, white wingtip fence (often referred to as a "winglet", although that is technically incorrect on this aircraft type) extends both above and below the wing, and is raked baked sharply. Flat grey sky fills the rest of the frame.

Close-up of the up-turned wingtips of a white jet airliner parked facing to the right, with another, nearly identical plane in the background. The plane is mostly whit, with a blue lower rear fuselage, reaching up towards the tail, , with the black registration "G-SUNC" on the upper rear. There is red text starting with the word "Package" on the upper fuselage towards the right - the plane in the background has the full text "Package holidays you can trust" running along the fuselage. The up-turned wing-tips are blue, with a yellow, orange, and red sunburst coming from the rear. In the distance, yellow airport vehicles are clustered around a large yellow shed and a pair of brown brick buildings.
