The plane is covered in a brown and dark green camouflage pattern, with a dark blue, white, and light blue stripe coming from under the nose, running along the body, then sweeping diagonally up through the middle of the tail, overlaid with a large, diagonal, number "75" with a dark blue dropshadow, on the tail. A large light blue triangle with a gold flying bird in the middle and a large golden wreath along the bottom and stretching up around the side, over the gold letters "SALM - SAAF" sits on top of the stripe on the forward fuselage, just aft of the open forward door. A small South African flag is painted on the side of the upper forward fuselage, just aft of the heavily glazed cockpit. A small dark blue pentagon with dark blue arrowheads on the corners and a gold flying bird in the middle sits on the blue stripe on the rear fuselage, over the barely discernible black serial "401". The plane's rear doors on both sides are oven, with bright sunlight visible on the other side, while the rear ramp is in the lowered position. Strong sunlight coming from the top left corner is casting a strong shadow on the ground in the bottom right. Cars and people can be seen in the background on the right, with the green tail of another military aircraft on the left. Bright but hazy sky fills the rest of the frame.

Side view of a white, 3 engined jet airliner with the engines mounted on the rear fuselage, taxiing from right to left on a black taxiway. The plane has blue "Top Air" titles on the upper forward fuselage, with the registration "TC-IYA" on the upper rear. The tail is dark blue, with small, repeated white "Top Air" titles. The engine pods are the same blue, with the same "top Air" titles. Green grass fills the foreground, with more grass and black runways in the background, with trees vanishing into grey haze in the distance.
