Front view of a blue, 2 seat gyrocopter parked facing the camera. The aircraft has no wings, but instead a rotor like a helicopter, but also has a pusher propellor at the rear. The fuselage is dark blue on the top surfaces, with a creamy white belly. It is parked on a small concrete slab surrounded by grass, with a brown wooden fence separating the airfield from parked cars, with tall trees behind, under pale grey skies.

The tail is mostly blue, with white and red piping at the bottom, with a large white image of a seated woman holding a trident in her right hand and a circular shield resting on the ground in her left hand, and wearing a plumed helmet on her head. The position of the shield almost makes it look like she is sitting in a wheelchair. Red tarmac filled with diagonal yellow stripes fills the foreground, while a low terminal building stretches across the background. The right wingtip of the plane I am on can be seen on the left of the frame. A large grey hangar can be seen beyond the terminal, under grey skies.

The plane is almost entirely white, with a double, thin blue stripe running along the body, and a thick red strip containing a white cross on the tail. The registration "HB-VJJ" is under this, in blue. Over-sized wingtip fuel tanks cover a large part of the lower body. Green grass fills the bottom of the frame, with more grass and a black runway in the background.

Schipol Sunday 12th April 2026.

Green grass and grey taxiways in the background are rapidly being swallowed up in grey mist, which fills the top of the frame.
