Winglet Wednesday 4th February 2026.

Close-up of the twin tails of a twin engined BizProp parked on bla ck tarmac facing to the right. The plane is mostly white, with a series of light and dark blue stripes running along the body and over the engines, which are mounted on the rear of the wings, facing backwards. The black registration "N8149S" is painted on the sides of the engine cowlings. As well as the twin tails on the ends of the wings, there is a small ventral tail under the rear fuselage - whether that is for additional stability, or to stop the propellor blades hitting the ground on take off or landing is unknown, at least to me. (It's probably a bit of both!) The tails of several other planes can be seen in the background on the left, and the feet of people in the crowd can be seen under this plane. Gorgeous blue sky with scattered fluffs of cloud fill the rest of the frame.
