Bright green grass fills the foreground and much of the background, with trees in the distance under blue skies. The tail of another light aircraft can be seen in the background on the left, silver at the front and a black and yellow checkerboard pattern at the rear, overlaid with a red star outlined in yellow, and the black letters "FA" under the horizontal stabiliser.

There are dark blue "Varig" titles, just aft of a small, green and yellow Brazilian flag and smaller blue "Brazil" titles. The black registration "PP-VMY" is on the upper rear fuselage, just in front of and below the tail. The white centre engine pods runs through the bottom part of the white tail, and has red text "DC-10-30" above smaller text "Intercontinental". There is black text "Varig" st the base of the top part of the tail, under a blue circle with a white and black 8 pointed compass in the middle, and the black letters "MY" right at the top. Grey concrete apron fills the foreground, with a sandy brown terminal building stretching across the background from the left. Trees in the distance meet layered cloudy sky with hints of blue at the top.

On This Day 22nd April 1992.

Almost head-on view from slightly below of a blue and grey, twin engined jet airliner with the engines mounted on the sides of the rear fuselage, turning to it's right as it lines up on a runway. The upper body is a dark blue, with a grey belly, a white stripe running along the body separating the 2 sections. A small British flag is visible on each side of the lower forward fuselage, under the rear cockpit windows. Green grass fills the foreground, with piles of dirt on the ground, with red and white striped triangular frames making their location. Under the planes wings, trees and houses can be seen in the distance, with dismal grey sky filling the rest of the frame.

Winglet Wednesday 22nd April 2026.

Close-up side view of the central fuselage and up-turned wingtips of a jet airliner taxiing from left to right. The plane is white on top, with a grey belly, and a thick red stripe running from front to rear, getting wider and moving down towards the lower rear fuselage and up into the tail, as well as a yellow stripe along the lower part of the red stripe. The wing-tips are similar, mostly red with yellow swirls and a white base. Grey concrete with painted white lines apron fills the background.

@mancavgeek It is tempting to make a joke about "stealth" but I imagine the owner is very proud of his aircraft
