The plane is mostly white, with a muted red belly, a pair of thin red stripes under the passenger cabin windows, and red "Sterling" titles on the upper forward fuselage. The white tail has another pair of thin red stripes at the base, under the centre engine intake, a large stylised, angular letter "S", and a thick red stripe at the top. Grey concrete apron fills the foreground, with a blue van parked by the built-in rear airstairs, coming down from between the engines. A grey and dark blue jet airliner is parked on the left of the frame behind this one, with a large grey hangar with blue piping filling the rest of the frame.

The plane is almost entirely white, with a thin orange and yellow stripe running along the body, under the passenger cabin windows, and the black registration "SE-DRA" on the upper rear fuselage. There is a slightly bizarre looking image of a red bird with a gold crown on its head, and a yellow tongue sticking out from the open yellow beak filling the tail, with a smaller version of this image on the sides of the white engine pods, hanging down from under the wings. Grey and black apron fills the foreground, while a low terminal building stretches across the frame in the background, with a white jet airliner with blue stripes along the body and blue and red "Air UK Leisure" titles on the upper forward fuselage. Trees meet grey sky in the distance.

On This Day 5th March 1996.

Side view of a twin engined jet airliner parked facing to the left on a large expanse of grey concrete apron. The plane is largely white, with a pair of red stripes running along the body, above and below the passenger cabin windows, joining at a point below the cockpit windows and in front of the horizontal stabiliser on the rear fuselage. Red arches have been painted around each of the cabin windows, and there is red writing in a Sanskrit or Hindi script on the upper forward fuselage, just aft of a small Indian flag. The registration "C-GCIL" is on the side of the lower rear fuselage, in red. The tail is white, with diagonal red text "Air India" along the leading edge, and a red blob that, if you squint, resembles a flying red bird with outstretched wings filling the rest of the space. A green set of mobile airstairs, mounted on the back of a green truck, is parked by the open forward cabin door. Grey apron fills most of the foreground, with a tall lighting pole right at the front on the left reaching into the sky, partially obscuring part of the forward fuselage, right where the forward door is folded open. Taxiways and a black runway are separated by wide strips of grass in the background, with grey-brown cargo buildings and a grey and blue plane in the distance, under even greyer skies.
