Low side view of a twin engined jet airliner flying from left to right almost directly overhead at a very low altitude, with undercarriage lowered and flaps extended from the rear of the wing, suggesting it is about to land. The plane is largely white, with dark blue "Lufthansa" titles on the upper forward fuselage, smaller text "Airbus A320-200" and "Kieve" on the lower forward fuselage, immediately aft of the forward cabin door, and the letters "QW" on the open nose-wheel door. The black registration "D-AIQW" is on the lower rear fuselage, next to small German and EU flags. The rear fuselage and tail is dark blue, with the silver outline of a circle, containing a stylised silver flying bird. Pale blue sky fills the rest of the frame.

Grey concrete apron fills the foreground, with a small white and blue truck in the middle towing a couple of baggage carts, parked just behind the wing, next to an open hatch in the lower rear fuselage, which has a baggage loading ramp parked against it. A white and grey airbridge is attached to the forward cabin door on the other side, the other end attached to a terminal building which stretches across the frame from the right. A white truck with a red cab is parked behind the rear of the plane. Various pieces of airport apron furniture - mobile air-stairs, baggage trucks, cargo containers, and a couple of vans and trucks - are scattered around the background, in front of the building and the next air-bridge along. Grey taxiway can be seen over the top of the building.
