@humanhorseshoes @mancavgeek@mancavgeek.co.uk There was a time you could tell which airlines had 737-200s based in Manchester, because whichever engineering company it was that did overnight checks, they just fitted the first inlet cowling they could grab.
You see it sometimes on photos from the late 80s and early 90s – British Airways, Monarch, Britannia, Orion, even occasionally Lufthansa and Air France, as well as some others – not all of them, but occasional, random inlets that didn't match the rest of the plane.
