The plane is mostly white, with purple "Virgin Atlantic" titles on the upper forward fuselage, and a scarlet red rear fuselage and tail, with white "Virgin" titles. The upturned wing-tips have part of a waving Union Flag. The engine pods slung under the wings are the same scarlet red, with the rear 1/3rd of the cowling having moved backwards to expose the thrust reversers, which along with the flaps hanging from the rear of the wings is slowing the plane after landing. Taxiways lined with strips of grass fill the foreground, with a grey terminal building with several planes parked in front of it stretching across the frame, under grey-blue skies.

Trees stretch across the frame in the distance, slowly being swallowed up in misty grey sky.

A white van is parked facing the plane in the bottom left corner. A collection of metal luggage containers are corralled behind red and white blocks behind the planes wing on the left, with more apron and a taxiway, lit with red and green lights, fill most of the rest of the background, with strips of grass running across the top of the frame.

Head-on shot of a large model of a white jet airliner with a sleek, highly complex swept delta wing, mounted as if it is in the middle of taking-off, looming over the camera. The model is pretty much entirely white, with a pair of jet engines in square pods under the rear of each wing. The model is mounted on a tall, angular black plinth with the text "British Airways - To Fly To Serve" on each face. The plinth is in the middle of a gravel pit, with a black walkway along the bottom of the frame, and a green grass bank rising in the background, under blue-grey cloudy skies, with a bright patch on the left.
