More grass in the background leads up to trees in the distance, under blue-grey sky.

Side view of a very large, white, 4 engined jet airliner moving from right to left . The plane is mostly white, with purple "Virgin Atlantic" titles on the upper forward fuselage, and a scarlet red rear fuselage and tail, with white "Virgin" titles. The upturned wing-tips have part of a waving Union Flag. The engine pods slung under the wings are the same scarlet red, with the rear 1/3rd of the cowling having moved backwards to expose the thrust reversers, which along with the flaps hanging from the rear of the wings is slowing the plane after landing. Taxiways lined with strips of grass fill the foreground, with a grey terminal building with several planes parked in front of it stretching across the frame, under grey-blue skies.

There are white "BEA" titles with large red drop-shadows on the upper forward fuselage. The black registration "G-AWZK" is on the lower rear fuselage, just forward of the side-mounted engines. The centre-engine intake at the bottom of the front of the tail has a red baffle inside, with white text "Trident Three" on the side of the faded green intake, and a quarter of a British flag on the side of the tail. A long yellow pole is attached to the plane's nose-wheel, running out of the lower right of the frame. A set of white air-stairs is parked against the forward door on the other side of the plane. Grey gravel fills the bottom of the frame, with another, military grey aeroplane visible under this plane's nose. Trees and a large, green metal box tower over the plane on the left of the frame.
