The plane's body is mostly white, with the section in front of the wings being a golden colour, with a lighter gold and pruple band around the fuselage directly in front of the wings. There are purple "Gulf Air" titles on the forward fuselage, ain an Arabic script above the cabin windows, and in English below them.there are large red "F1" titles on the lower rear fuselage, advertising the Formula 2 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix race. The tail is more or less filled with a large, golden, stooping eagle, an image which also appears in smaller form on the upturned wingtips. The engine pods are mostly purple, with a golden band around the air intakes.
