And welcome to MancAvGeek version… 9? 8? 10?

I’ve lost count.

Anyhoo, here is my ongoing attempt to show-off my attempts at aviation photography, a hobby which developed (HA!) out of my hobby of planespotting – I started Spotting in 1986 and bought my first camera in 1992, although I had occasionally borrowed a camera before that.

I took a break from the aviation world in 2000 (that is another project for another time, possibly the new year!), spent a wek or so back doing it in 2006, then left again until 2013 – I’ve been more or less active ever since, although not quite as much as I would like, due to work and family commitments.

The site has been in operation for the best part of a decade now, but every time something technical has come up that meant that carrying on was inadvisable at best, so I would try something different.

After the previous version of the site decided to un-install itself, and the backups decided that was the time to not be able to restore the site, I decided it was time to start again, so here we are.

There are several things I want to implement in this version of the site, but they might take time to create, so it will probably be a bit basic to start off, but don’t worry, a crack team of ninja squirrels is working on things behind the scenes.

In the mean-time have a look around, and consider following/subscribing, for more updates.
