Manchester Monday 5 22nd June 2026.

Rear side view of a twin propellor-engined airliner parked facing to the left, nose-in to a terminal building. The plane is predominantly white, with black "British Airways" titles on the upper forward fuselage, and the registration "G-BRLY" on the lower rear. The tail is blue, with a large white circle in the middle. The door in the front of the passenger cabin is open, with passengers queuing on the apron to climb the built-in airstairs to get onboard. Grey concrete apron fille the foreground, with a grey and black terminal building with airbridges hanging off the side filling most of the background, under grey sky.

G-BRLY, British Aerospace Advanced Turbo Prop (ATP), in basic THT livery with British Airways titles, loading passengers on Gate 42 at Manchester Airport, some time in the mid-1990s, as seen from the much missed rooftop terraces on Terminal 1.
