The registration "G-UKLF" is on the upper rear fuselage in black. A light dusting of snow covers the ground - taxiways and the runway have been cleared and are reflecting bright, golden, early morning sunlight. In the distance, black hangars can be seen, their roofs also covered in snow, with trees behind, slowly vanishing in to haze, under a hazy yellow-tinged sky. — G-UKLF, Boeing 737-42C, Air UK Leisure, creeping gingerly through a light dusting of snow at Manchester Airport, some time between late 1991 and March 1997.

The tail is a dark blue, with a large yellow circle containing a blue bird with wings outstretched flying from right to left, abnd the registration "D-ADPI" on the centre engine intake. Concrete apron fills most of the rest of the frame, with a couple of white airbridges sticking out, one of which at the top of the frame has a white plane with a blue and white tail attached. In the distance, right at the top of the frame, a red, brown, and white building is at the edge of the apron, with trees behind under a light pink sky. — D-ADPI, Boeing 727-230, Lufthansa, at Manchester Airport, some time in the early 1990s, taken at a fairly extreme angle to try and fit the whole thing in – I had borrowed a pentax SLR with a 70-210 zoom from a friend, and could really have done with a 50mm (possibly a 35mm!) lens for this shot from this point.
